DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE VEHICLE SALES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT This work borders on Online Vehicle Sales Management System. The current system of Online Vehicle Sales is faced with few technical issues, ranging from information regarding sales of cars is manually done e.g. product details, distributor details, purchases, and sales details. This calls for the need to develop a system that corrects this error. The design Vehicle Sales Management System Enable customers to purchase vehicles online with secure credit card payment gateway thereby reducing risk of travelling to purchase the car. The present system Register and keep the information about all Benny & Co. vehicles. The methodology adopted for this project is the Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM). The new system helps car dealers to maintain vehicle for sale inventories, quickly create car sales listings, track and manage car sales. CHAPTER ONE INTRODUCTION 1.1       BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY Vehicle Sales Management System for Benny & Co. Motors is proposed as a topic for this Research, with the intention of upgrading the current standalone system to a web-based or online system. Hopefully with this idea, this system will be capable to help smooth and enhance the vehicle management of Benny & Co. Motors. Vehicle Sales Management System is an application used to manage the business of motor vehicles. More than two-third of automotive customers indicate that Service Convenience is a determining factor in selecting a brand or purchasing from a Specific dealer. Consequently, Dealers enables efficient service; order processing and billing designed for any given number of orders per day. It includes Service requests and Scheduling, Optimization of technicians, tools, and parts as well as their deployment and scheduling. Sales Management is a business discipline which is focused on the practical application of sales techniques and the management of a firm's sales operations. It is an important business function, as net sales through the sale of products and services and resulting profit drive most commercial business. These are also typically the goals and performance indicators of sales management. Sales manager is the typical title of someone whose role is sales management. The role typically involves talent development and leadership. The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, Driving Standards Agency and the Vehicle and Operator Service Agency Provide Services for 42 million drivers(Genat, Robert 2004).  The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) Provides a range of licensing, testing and enforcement services with the aim of improving the roadworthiness standards of Vehicles ensuring the Compliance of operators and drivers, and Supporting the independent Traffic Commissioner.
